Before, During, and After Your Morpheus8 Burst Treatment
Your appointment begins with a consultation. Your provider evaluates your skin, maps the fat distribution in facial zones where fat should be preserved, and determines the appropriate tip configuration, depth, and energy settings. Topical numbing cream is applied 45–60 minutes before, and Pronox (patient-controlled inhaled analgesic) is available throughout.
During treatment, the handpiece is applied in a systematic pattern, delivering microneedles and RF energy simultaneously across the treatment area. Most patients describe the sensation as warmth combined with pulsing pressure. Facial treatments take 20–40 minutes. Body treatments with the 40-pin Deep tip may take up to an hour for larger zones.
After treatment: mild redness, slight swelling, and tiny pinpoint marks for one to three days. Most patients are back to their normal routine within 24–48 hours.
