AURA HEALTH & WELLNESS · Tulare, CA

Feel Good in Your Own Body Again

Most people who book a first appointment with us have been putting something off. The jeans that stopped fitting two summers ago. The three o’clock crash that quietly became every day. A lab result someone mentioned once and nobody ever followed up on.

Aura Health & Wellness is a wellness practice in Tulare, California. The work we do here is simple to describe. We find out what is actually going on inside your body, we treat it, and then we stay with you long enough to know whether it worked. You get a real plan, a real follow-up schedule, and a doctor who will sit down and talk it through with you.

Who Comes to See Us?

Farmers, teachers, nurses, and people who drive out of the county every morning for work. Women who were told their labs looked fine while they lay awake at four in the morning. Men in their forties who assumed the fog and the flatness were just what forty feels like. People who have lost the same twenty pounds four separate times and would like the fifth attempt to be the last one.

What they tend to have in common is that they have been managing something on their own for a long time. Usually longer than they should have.

WHAT WE DO

Four services, all of them built around the same idea: measure first, treat second, and check back often enough to catch what is not working.

01

Medical Weight Loss

We prescribe semaglutide and tirzepatide, along with phentermine for patients it suits better. Medication is one piece of it. You also get nutritional guidance, supplements chosen to support your body while the weight comes off, and follow-up appointments on a regular schedule so we can adjust the dose instead of guessing at it. Our doctor is available for consultations whenever you want a longer conversation.

02

IV Hydration & Vitamin Injections

Fluids and nutrients delivered straight into the bloodstream, which is useful when you are run down, recovering, or working long days in Valley heat. Appointments are short and you can walk out and go back to your day.

03

HRT for Women

Perimenopause and menopause change a great deal more than your cycle. We run your labs here in our own office, look at the whole picture, and build a plan around it. Pellets are one of the options, and testosterone is part of the conversation for women too, which surprises people more than it should. Some patients can be seen under insurance.

04

TRT for Men

Low testosterone shows up as fatigue, weight that will not move, a shorter fuse, and a general sense that the volume has been turned down. It is measurable, and if it is low, it is treatable. Labs are done in house so you are not waiting a week to find out.

Three in four American adults are living with at least one chronic condition, and more than half are living with two or more. Most of those conditions were built slowly, out of years of things that felt normal at the time. The earlier someone looks, the more room there is to change the direction.

How Do These Four Things Fit Together?

Ask us about your weight and we will end up talking about your hormones. Ask about your hormones and we will end up talking about your sleep, and about what you are actually absorbing from your food.

None of these systems runs separately from the others, and treating one while ignoring the rest is the reason so many people get half a result and conclude the problem is them.

A woman in perimenopause who cannot shift weight is usually not failing at dieting. Her hormones changed and the rules changed underneath her. A man on a weight loss plan with low testosterone will fight for every pound, because fat tissue converts testosterone into estrogen and the loop feeds itself from both ends. Someone eating very little on appetite medication can quietly slip into a nutrient shortfall and blame the exhaustion on the diet.

So we ask questions that sound unrelated to why you came in. They are not unrelated. They are usually the reason the last thing you tried only half worked.

Which One Do You Actually Need?

If you are not sure where you land, this is roughly how people sort themselves out. Book a consultation and we will help you figure out the rest.

What Actually Makes This Place Different?

We would rather show you than tell you, but here is the short version.

01

Your labs are drawn here

We run labs in our own office. That means fewer trips, faster answers, and a provider who is looking at your numbers rather than reading a summary of them. When something looks off, we can move on it quickly.

02

Insurance covers more than people expect

Some of what we do, including hormone care for certain patients, can be billed through insurance. Most people assume a wellness clinic is cash only and never think to ask. Ask.

03

Follow-up is the treatment

A prescription without follow-up is a guess. We build regular check-ins into every plan, because the dose that is right for you in month one is often not the dose that is right in month four. This is the part most places skip, and it is the part that decides whether you get a result.

04

You can ask us anything

Nobody here is going to talk over your head or make you feel like you should have known better. If you want the science, we will give you the science. If you want the plain-English version, that is fine too. Most people want a bit of both.

What Happens on Your First Visit?

You sit down with a provider and talk. We want your history, your symptoms, what you have already tried, and what you are actually hoping for. Then, depending on why you came in, we draw labs. Depending on the results, we talk through your options and pick one together.

Nobody gets a plan on the first visit that they did not agree to. If you want to go home and think about it, that is a completely normal thing to do.

What to Bring

A list of your current medications and supplements, any recent labs you already have, your insurance card if you have one, and a rough sense of what has been bothering you and for how long. If you forget all of it, come anyway.

Why Do We Talk About Longevity Instead of Quick Fixes?

The interesting question is not what you weigh on a Tuesday in April. It is whether you can still get up off the floor at seventy-five. Whether you sleep through the night. Whether you have the energy left at the end of a shift to actually enjoy the people waiting for you at home.

Weight, hormones, nutrients, and energy are all connected, and pulling on one of them moves the others. So we look at the whole thing. Sometimes the fix is small and fast. Sometimes it takes a year. Either way, the goal is the same: more good days, and more of them stacked in a row.

Optimizing your health reads like a phrase off a brochure until you watch it happen to somebody. In practice it looks like the patient who stopped needing a blood pressure medication. The woman who slept through the night for the first time in three years and cried about it in the follow-up. The man who spent a Saturday keeping up with his kids instead of watching them from a chair. We are not chasing perfect. We are chasing better than last year, and then better again the year after that. Stack that up over a decade and it is a genuinely different life. The best thing we hear from patients is never a number. It is somebody saying they feel like themselves again.

Serving Tulare and the Rest of the Valley

We Know the Valley

Our office is in Tulare, and patients drive in from Visalia, Hanford, Porterville, Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Tipton, and Corcoran.

Long days, real heat, harvest seasons that do not care about your appointment calendar. We try to make it easy to be seen without rearranging your life around it.

Questions People Ask Before They Book

Do you take insurance?

For some services and some patients, yes. Hormone care in particular can often be billed. Give us a call with your plan details and we will check for you.

Is this a med spa or a medical clinic?

Both, in the way that matters. Everything we do is medical, prescribed by a provider and based on your labs. The atmosphere is a lot friendlier than that makes it sound.

Can I come in for one thing and end up doing something else?

Frequently. People book a weight loss consultation and leave with a hormone panel. People come in for a drip and find out why they were tired in the first place. You are never obligated to take any of it. We would rather tell you what we can see and let you decide.

What if I only want to talk to someone first?

That is exactly what a consultation is for. Come in, ask your questions, take the information home with you. Nobody here is going to chase you.

What if I have tried everything already?

Then you are in good company, and you are exactly the person we would like to see. Most of the time, the thing that was missing was not willpower. It was information about what your body is actually doing.
